A Quote from The Ofsted Inspector

"The motto of 'compassion, quality and inclusion' is truly embedded across this vibrant setting. The atmosphere buzzes with children's laughter. Everywhere that you look, children are engaged in purposeful learning. Staff have created an environment that oozes calm and tranquillity. Children arrive each morning with smiles on their faces. They are greeted by caring and nurturing staff. Children embrace staff with cuddles and are eager to engage them in their play".

    Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@thenurserysend.co.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question.

No, we assess each child on an individual basis. Some children will only need early intervention and then transition to a universal provision, which we will fully support you and your child with. Furthermore, we will complete any necessary referrals to seek an assessment and diagnosis where required.

No, we will implement the graduated response and collate evidence in order to apply for an EHC needs assessment, if your child needs one for their education journey. Not all children will need an EHCP in the early years, we will work cohesively with parents/carers and all necessary professionals to assess and implement the most appropriate level of support for your child.

No, the majority of children will transition to mainstream provisions, with or without additional support, such as SEN support, transition funding, EHCP. Children with complex needs will be supported to transition to a special provision and or resource base. We will closely with all schools and provisions to ensure your child has a positive and robust transition to school.
